I have had a soft spot for animals from the time I was a kid, probably because animals have always been in my life to one degree or another. More recently, the entrepreneur in me knew that I wouldn't work for the man forever, so when I quit my desk job in 2013 I had a lot of spare time to figure out where my passion lies.
I started walking dogs part time in 2010 and it didn't take long to figure out that was what I wanted to do it full time. What came next was how I could merge my love of dogs, the outdoors AND fashion.
My first passion was to be outdoors with the animals. I was and still am always excited to play outside rain or shine, sleet or snow and enjoy the backyard that we are surrounded by on a daily basis. Hanging out with smaller dogs and Vancouver's temperamental temperatures, I quickly learned that the little dogs need extra padding which is where the fashion comes in. Whether it's fashion design or other concepts, through time shared with the animals, I'm learning what is missing in their world and possibly ours. So one design after the next, I hope to fill the voids.
In the meantime, you can almost always find me walking, talking, playing or hanging with a fuzzy friend. I love what I do!
